Infosecurity Magazine is delighted to host the eighth annual Women in Cybersecurity event – taking place at Infosecurity Europe on Wednesday 5 June, 2024, from 3.00-5.30pm on the Keynote Stage.
It’s crucial to recognise and champion the accomplishments of women in our industry. By building connections with allies in cybersecurity and empowering women at every stage, we can support them from the start of their careers and as they progress up the ladder.
Women in Cybersecurity is one step on that journey. Hosted by Infosecurity Magazine Editor, Beth Maundrill, this exclusive event will feature some of the industry’s most inspiring and influential women – including our Keynote Speaker, Stephanie Hare.
Stephanie will share her journey in the world of technology and talk about why her book "Technology is not Neutral: A Short Guide to Technology Ethics" is the guide she wishes she had when she started her career.
We’ll also have an exciting panel discussion with women at the forefront of their fields, covering thought-provoking topics such as:
- Identifying your key skills: technical, soft, or a combination of both.
- Building your personal brand through networking, communication and authenticity.
- Developing strong negotiation skills to ensure your ideas are valued.
- Empowering women through mentorship.
- Becoming a better ally and addressing biases.
