The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), in collaboration with national data protection authorities have developed and published a “Code of Conduct for GDPR Compliance”. This workshop provides a brief overview of the European GDPR requirements, it explains the key role of the principles of accountability and transparency within the scope of the law and finally introduces the Code of Conduct that CSA for GDPR compliance. During the workshop, representatives from CSA, the auditing community and a cloud service provider will walk attendees through a real-world scenario of how they can adopt the code of conduct for their organisations.

Learning Outcomes: 

  1. Understanding which are the GDPR requirements for data controller and processors in the cloud
  2. Understanding what the CSA Code of Conduct for GDPR compliance is and how to integrate the CSA Code within your existing security program
  3. Understanding the importance of transparency and accountability from both the Cloud service providers and customer perspective

Target Audience: Mid-level Information Security Decision-Makers

LOCATION: The Security Workshops are located on Level 3 of the Olympia Conference Centre. To access the conference centre, please use the signposted entrance on Hammersmith Road. This is a different location to previous years so make sure you plan ahead.

**Please note: You cannot access the Olympia Conference Centre via the main Infosecurity Europe exhibition hall – you must use the Hammersmith Road entrance. Please allow extra time for this.
