Tech Talks
Language:

User and Entity Behaviour Analytics (UEBA) has emerged as a viable tool in detecting security threats that are otherwise impossible to find via traditional approaches.  Success of a UEBA deployment depends on many factors including the analytical approach, usability, as well as the data and infrastructure support.  How does an enterprise begin and continue the path successfully? Come to this talk to gain an understanding of UEBA and learn how to chart a successful path.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Recognise the reasons for employing UEBA for threat detection
  2. Learn the technology components of UBEA, from algorithms to the supporting infrastructure
  3. Compare options in the buy vs. build decision
  4. Understand the technology evaluation process and be able to ask the right questions
  5. How to conduct a successful POC in UEBA technology
