Influence operation on the web and in social media today target everything from elections to corporate interests and high profile individuals. In this talk we present a methodology for identifying and tracking influence operations using behavioural analytics. We show how relevant topics can be identified and how temporal analytics can help in identifying networks of social media accounts engaged in an influence operation. We describe how graph algorithms and visualisations can be used to identify clusters of coordinated accounts and possible gatekeepers connecting these clusters.

  3. Gain insight in how behavioural analytics can help identify accounts active in influence operations.
  4. Understand how temporal analytics can identify coordinated attacks, both by humans and bots.
