"We Take Security Seriously"

04 Jun 2019, 15:30 - 16:15

Insight Stage

We take security seriously – it’s a ‘throwaway’ phrase commonly used by companies who have just been breached and are trying to rebuild confidence among their stakeholders.

But, just what do these words mean and what do organisations need to do to actively demonstrate to their customers that they are taking security seriously?

In this engaging session and supported by extensive research with security professionals we will quantify the controls and measures organisations must undertake to reassure their stakeholders that they aren’t merely investing in blind faith and they can back up this statement with clear intent and action.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Why merely investigating in security isn't enough
  2. Gain access to new research on what organisations think taking security seriously means
  3. Learn what controls demonstrate that organisations take security seriously
  4.  Understand what measures organisations must take to reassure their customers that they can deliver on this statement
  5. Learn how to re-build confidence after a breach
