Travel

Discover the best ways to travel to Infosecurity Europe by clicking on the transport options below. Visitors to London can apply for an Oyster Card in advance. We strongly recommend using public transport to travel to the event as car parking is limited. There are many ways to get to ExCeL depending on your preferred method - from taxi to the tube or by bus.

Elizabeth Line

The Elizabeth line is now officially open!  The new line will transform travel across London, with direct links for national travel: Farringdon (for Thameslink services), Paddington (for Reading, Oxford, and the South West) and Liverpool Street (for Stanstead and the east of England) it will be easier, faster and more convenient to visit ExCeL.

Arriving by Air

London City Airport is closest to ExCeL (less than a mile) and has flights to and from Europe and beyond. It is also possible to fly to any of London’s other five airports and continue your journey onward to ExCeL by public transport.

Arriving by Train or Tube

All the major UK cities are connected to London by train and once you are in the capital city, the London Underground Jubilee Line is the quickest route towards ExCeL. At Canning Town Station alight and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR Train (Docklands Light Railway) to ExCeL.

If you are travelling by DLR, please alight at Custom House (at the West Entrance of ExCeL) or Prince Regent (at the East Entrance of ExCeL). It is about two minute walk from both stations. Follow the  signs into the venue. The Docklands Light Railway is part of the London Underground Network and there are 12 trains an hour towards Beckton.

ExCeL London is located in Zone 3.

Arriving by Road

There is plenty of parking at ExCeL London with 3,070 parking spaces. Parking is a £25 flat tariff for up to 24 hours. Traveling by car in Central and East London can be subject to delays, particularly around rush hour so please plan ahead and leave plenty of time to make your journey.

Arriving by Taxi

You can simply flag down a licenced London taxi outside the venue or you may wish to order a minicab to come and collect you. Tipping: As a guideline it is customary to tip taxi drivers between 10-15% of the fare.

Arriving by River

Enjoy a different view of London from the river or the air on your journey to ExCeL. Take an Uber Boat, run by Thames Clipper (services run every 20 minutes) from one of the main London piers. Alight at North Greenwich Pier (for the O2) and take the Emirates Airline Cable Car across the river to ExCeL (see By Cable Car below).

You can also alight at Royal Wharf Pier, where you can walk through Britannia Village and over the Royal Victoria footbridge to ExCel's west entrance. This should take you around 20 minutes.

Arriving by Bike

ExCeL London is located close to the cycle superhighway which runs from Barking to Tower Gateway (Route CS3). At the venue there are 54 cycle racks at the East Entrance and 6 at the West Entrance.
