Agentic AI Takes Centre Stage at Infosecurity Europe 2026

For 2026, Infosecurity Europe’s conference programme will spotlight the latest developments in artificial intelligence with the debut of the OWASP GenAI Security Summit.

Infosecurity Europe’s 2026 Cybersecurity Trends Research found that 64% of UK cybersecurity leaders believe Agentic AI will have the biggest impact on cybersecurity over the next three years.

Of the wider European (France, Germany, Holland, Belgium and Denmark) respondents to the research, 52% said Agentic AI is the most impactful emerging technology.

This surpassed other disruptive tech like cloud native application protection, quantum computing, non-human identity and zero-trust architecture.

AI is now playing a critical role in cybersecurity by way of both a defensive tool and as sophisticated attack vector.

From automating threat detection and response to enabling adversaries to scale attacks, mimic human behaviour and exploit vulnerabilities, Agentic AI is rapidly reshaping the industry.

OWASP GenAI Security Summit at Infosecurity Europe

Infosecurity Europe is placing AI at the forefront of this year’s event agenda, with a range of keynotes, sessions, training courses and the launch of the OWASP GenAI Security Summit, a new, exclusive half-day summit dedicated to securing generative and agentic AI systems.

Scott Clinton, Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the OWASP GenAI Security Project, said, "AI is transforming cybersecurity at an unprecedented pace, creating both powerful new defences and entirely new attack surfaces.”

By joining the OWASP GenAI Security Summit, attendees will hear directly from those working in the space and bringing together global experts to share research, practical frameworks and real-world strategies for securing GenAI and agentic systems.

Tackling AI-Driven Security Challenges

Across the wider Infosecurity Europe conference programme AI-related cybersecurity challenges will be discussed.

The SANS Institute workshop, LLM Mayhem - Hands on Red Teaming LLM Powered Chatbots, on Tuesday, 2nd June from 11:00 - 13:00 (paid upgrade to attend) will include hypothetical chatbots with varying levels of difficulty to walk attendees through various attack techniques.

The SANS session will provide a base foundation on red teaming chatbots, understand how and why the attacks work, and provide guidance on how attendees can set up their own infrastructure to test and hone their skills after the event.

During the Leader’s Programme, AI security experts will share what CISOS are really deploying when it comes to AI in cybersecurity.

Priority badge holders will be able to hear Bar Kaduri, Head of Research, Capsule Security, talk on ‘The Age of the understatement: Threat hunting the agentic AI attack surface with AI.’

Practical demonstrations, such as hands-on red teaming, will further illustrate how quickly offensive capabilities are evolving.

The AI & Cloud Security Theatre will showcase industry-leading insights into how organisations can secure AI-enabled environments, attack vectors such as deepfakes, AI-powered phishing and automated manipulation, as well as the growing risk of attacks targeting our own GenAI and LLMs.

While exhibitors such as Darktrace will demonstrate the latest innovations in AI-powered security solutions across the show floor, reflecting the technology’s rapid integration into mainstream cybersecurity strategies.
