LLM Mayhem - Hands on Red Teaming LLM Powered Chatbots

In this workshop we have set up hypothetical chatbots with varying levels of difficulty to walk attendees through various attack techniques. We'll model the attack after typical red team engagements we have been on in order to test the resiliency of a chatbot. The goals of this session is to give a base foundation on red teaming chatbots, understand how and why the attacks work, and provide guidance on how attendees can setup their own infrastructure to test and hone their skills after the event.

Post-Quantum Cryptography: Securing the Future, Today

Cryptography provides the foundation for many of the security controls we depend upon to keep our systems and data secure. The evolution of quantum computers threatens to undermine that, introducing a problem that parallels the scale and complexity of the Y2K bug. And with post-quantum compliance requirements already being outlined, now's the time to start planning your migration.
In this workshop, Security Architect and SANS Instructor Andy Smith will provide participants with just the right amount of theoretical knowledge on quantum computing and cryptography to be able to assess and communicate the real quantum risk, identify the suitable alternatives, and act as authoritative practitioners to kick-start a migration journey. Delegates will have the opportunity to get hands-on with new quantum-resistant algorithms themselves, and explore tooling that can help identify & manage soon-to-be-vulnerable assets.

As the new SOC Manager, you’re responsible for deciding what to fix, what to defer, and how to move the SOC forward without burning out your team or using all of your resources.
