How to get here
Not sure how to get to the exhibition grounds? We have all the information you need.
Public Transport
All the major UK cities are connected to London by train and once you are in the capital city, the London Underground Jubilee Line is the quickest route towards ExCeL. At Canning Town Station alight and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR Train (Docklands Light Railway) to ExCeL.
Car
There is plenty of parking at ExCeL London with 3,070 parking spaces. Parking is a £25 flat tariff for up to 24 hours. Traveling by car in Central and East London can be subject to delays, particularly around rush hour so please plan ahead and leave plenty of time to make your journey.
Train
The Elizabeth line is now officially open! The new line will transform travel across London, with direct links for national travel: Farringdon (for Thameslink services), Paddington (for Reading, Oxford, and the South West) and Liverpool Street (for Stanstead and the east of England) it will be easier, faster and more convenient to visit ExCeL.
Air
London City Airport is closest to ExCeL (less than a mile) and has flights to and from Europe and beyond. It is also possible to fly to any of London’s other five airports and continue your journey onward to ExCeL by public transport.
Visa Information
On arrival in the United Kingdom, you must show a valid national passport or other equivalent official document that satisfactorily establishes your identity and nationality.
If you are not a British citizen or a citizen of one the European Economic Area (EEA) countries, you may need to acquire a visa – entry clearance certificate – before you travel to Britain. If you have a valid passport and UK visa, you will normally be granted entry to the UK. Please allow plenty of time to make an appointment for your visa application before you travel to avoid disappointment.
Please visit the UK Border Agency if you need to confirm if you acquire a visa and for full details about visa requirements, biometric information and application procedures.
When you arrive in Britain, your visa tells UK immigration:
- The reason you are travelling to Britain
- How long you are allowed to stay
- The last day you are allowed entry
Entry clearance follows strict rules and procedures.
Visitor Visa Letters
Unfortunately we cannot issue letters of invitation for visit purposes.
Once you have registered for the event, you will receive a confirmation email which should be enough support for your visa application.
Exhibitor Visa Letters
Our customer service team can support you in providing a letter for attending the event. Please note, by the time of issuing the letter, the person attending will need to already have an Exhibitor Badge requested via the Exhibitor Portal.
The following details will need to be submitted with the request: Full name, Company, Job Title, ID/Passport number, Date of issue, Expiry date, Date of Birth and Badge number.
