Infosecurity Europe Cyber Start Up Award 2026 – Terms and Conditions

1.              Who are we?

The Infosecurity Europe Cyber Start Up Award 2026 (referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “the Award”) is offered to you by Reed Exhibitions Limited. Our principal place of business is at Gateway House, 28 The Quadrant, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1DN, UK. Reed Exhibitions Limited is the company that in these Terms and Conditions is also known as “we” or “us”.

We are the owner and organiser of the Infosecurity Europe 2026 Event scheduled to be held on Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th June 2026 at the ExCel Centre, London (referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “the Event”), as well as the owner and controller of the website (referred to in these Terms and Conditions as the Event Website”).

2.              What is the Award?

The Infosecurity Europe Cyber Startup Award 2026, supported by UK Cyber Flywheel, is a brand-new competition created to spotlight the most exciting early-stage cybersecurity businesses with live products and serious growth potential.

The Award is for startups that are not just innovating but delivering real world impact. Finalists will pitch live on stage at the Event in front of industry leaders, investors and buyers, with the winner (“the Winner”) crowned on the day.

Entering the Award puts businesses in front of the people who can transform their growth, gaining them high profile exposure at the Event, a direct pitch to investors, CISOs and buyers and the opportunity to win industry recognition and credibility, plus access to expert PR and branding support as well as the opportunity to win the Prize (as defined below).

3.              What terms, conditions and rules apply to the Award?

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Award. You will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them by entering the Award. If you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions, you may be excluded from access to the Prize.

Who Can Enter?

To be eligible, companies must meet all of the following criteria:

- Revenue: less than £5 million in annual revenue

- Founded: privately held and founded within the last five years at the time of the Event, i.e. founded on or before 1st June 2021

- Offering: an innovative cybersecurity product or service

- Product status: a functioning, live product only

How to Enter

Submit a single written entry of up to 1,000 words covering the following five sections:

1. Executive Summary – overview of the business, product, customers and market opportunity;

2. Product Details – what the solution does, who it is for, how it works and the problem it solves;

3. Competitive Differentiation what makes your product different and why you win against competitors;

4. Market Traction – customers, revenue range, partnerships, pilots, deployments and growth to date; and

5. Team Bios – founders and key leaders, including relevant cybersecurity, technical and commercial experience.

Entries must clearly demonstrate that the product is live and in market.

Entries must be submitted via a form on the Event Website, as per the attached link Infosecurity Europe Cyber Startup Award, by no later than 22:00 hours (10pm) GMT or 17:00 hours (5pm) EST on Friday 27th February 2026 (“the Closing Date”).

We shall then choose a shortlist of finalists, who will each be invited (via email) to attend the Event, at their own cost, and will be given the following at the Event:

- free entry and badges to the Event, for the duration of the Event;

- a chance to pitch their business and product live to the judges at the Event on the afternoon of Tuesday 2nd June 2026;

- seeing the Winner selected and announced immediately after all the pitches;

- attending an exclusive founder and investor networking event at the Event; and

- receiving a featured speaking slot on the Cyber Startups Stage on the afternoon of Wednesday 3rd June 2026.

The Prize

The Winner will receive:

the Winner’s logo and trophy;

- a free exhibition stand in the Discovery Zone at Infosecurity Europe 2027;

- a 2-hour consultation with cybersecurity PR experts; 

- a 1.5-hour branding workshop with startup brand specialists; and

- two (2) tickets to the Infosecurity Europe 2026 VIP party.

We may, at our discretion, change the Closing Date and we also reserve the right to alter, amend, suspend or withdraw these Terms and Conditions without prior notice, but any changes to the dates or these Terms and Conditions will be indicated on the Event Website. It is your responsibility to check for any such changes.

4.              How much will it cost me to enter the Award?

No entry fee is applicable, but all shortlisted finalists will be responsible for their own costs of travelling to and attending the Event as well as their own costs in putting together their respective pitches. AV and similar equipment will be provided by us for the pitches themselves.

5.              How will we use your personal data and information?

We will only use your personal data and corporate information to operate the Award and verify your identity and eligibility and to advise you if you are on the shortlist of finalists.

Your company’s or organisation’s personal data and corporate information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy from time to time and in accordance with all relevant legislation. This link takes you to our Privacy Policy.

6.              Ownership of Award Entries and Intellectual Property Rights

We do not claim any rights of ownership in your entries or your pitches, but we may use elements of your entry or pitch which are not confidential in nature for our own marketing purposes, while all ownership of the Event and Award belong to Reed Exhibitions Limited and all rights, including intellectual property rights, relating thereto remain fully reserved by us, Reed Exhibitions Limited.

7.              How far are we liable or responsible to you?

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes or limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by the law. Otherwise, we will not be liable to you for any matter relating to the Award or the Prize.

We will also not be liable to you if you suffer loss or inconvenience because of the failure of persons or systems that we do not directly control – for example, mobile phone network operators, internet service providers, software providers or telephone traffic handlers.

8.              The legal position of these Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and us. We reserve the right to change them and update them from time to time but, if we do so, we will post the changes on the Event Website.

The Award is organised and ran strictly in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and all other applicable laws relating to data protection, anti-bribery and compliance that are applicable in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States of America and elsewhere in the world.

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim of whatever nature arising out of or in any way relating to these Terms and Conditions, the validity and performance hereof or their formation (including any non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties hereby irrevocably acknowledge and agree that the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect hereof.
